人とガラスをつなぐ 伝えたいガラスの魅力。
Concept
INFINITI GLASS WORKSでは「アイデアは無限に広がる宇宙から」という言葉を大切にしながら作品を制作しております。
INFINITIの I はアイデアの I で始まり、アイデアの I で終わります。
ほんの少しのアイデアから様々な作品が生まれると信じ、どこまでも広がる宇宙のように無限に尽きることのないアイデアで作品制作が出来るように。
という願いを込めてINFINITIと名付けました。
作品制作では、ガラスをもっと身近に。そして、もっと気軽に親しんでもらいたいと考え、それぞれのガラスの特徴を生かしたような制作を心がけております。
それは、色ガラスひとつをとってもそれぞれの個性があり、その色ガラスでないとあらわせない美しさや面白さがあったりもします。
自分にしか出来ないような提案でガラスの個性を引き出し、手に取ってくださった方々がいつまでも大切にしたいと思えるような作品をお届けしたいと考えております。
At INFINITI GLASS WORKS, we create our works with the phrase "Ideas come from the infinite universe" in mind.The "I" in INFINITI begins and ends with the "I" of ideas.
We believe that a little bit of an idea can create a variety of works, and we hope that we can create works with endless and never-ending ideas, just like the universe that spreads out forever.
I named my work INFINITI with this wish in mind.
In my work, I want to make glass more accessible. I try to make the most of the characteristics of each type of glass.
Each piece of colored glass has its own individuality, and there is beauty and interest that can only be expressed by that particular piece of colored glass.
I hope to draw out the individuality of glass with proposals that only I can make, and deliver pieces that people who hold them in their hands will want to cherish forever.

熊本県菊池市にて会社員として日常を送る日々に出会ったのがボロシリケイトガラスでした。ガラスの中に閉じ込められた宇宙を初めて見た時に「自分でも作ってみたい！！」と心を動かされすぐに、ガラス制作を始めようと決意し、その後ひたすら独学にてガラスと向き合う日々が始まりました。
2000度以上にもなる高温の炎が出るバーナーで、ガラスをひとつひとつ溶かして作品にするのは、容易ではなく失敗の繰り返しの日々でした。
毎日毎日ガラスと向き合い、少しずつ独自の製法による作品制作が可能となり、現在に至っています。
INFINITIの I にはいつまでも尽きる事のない無限のアイデアで作品制作が出来るように。という作家の願いが込められています。
I encountered "borosilicate glass" in my daily life as a company employee in Kikuchi, Kumamoto Prefecture. The first time I saw the universe trapped in glass, I was moved to "I want to make it myself! I was so moved that I immediately decided to start making glass.
It was not easy to melt glass one by one with a burner that emits a flame of more than 2,000 degrees Celsius, and I kept making mistakes.
Day after day, I faced the glass, and little by little, I became able to create works using my own unique manufacturing method.
The "I" in INFINITI represents the artist's wish to be able to create works of art with endless ideas that will never run out.
